Let’s go Island Hopping!

Winter is almost here and it’s going to be a white one! Having experienced the staycation I know everyone is eager to hop on a plane and enjoy a fruity rum cocktail on a white sandy beach next to clear blue salty water. We are in the boat business and want to help our clients enjoy this unique lifestyle all year round.

Imagine waking up every morning in paradise, exploring a different island every day, and snorkeling in some of the world’s most majestic tropical reefs. Just to have the luxury of deciding where to go next, do you follow the itinerary you planned or head to the “full moon or beach BBQ” party at a nearby island that the friends you made told you about while at dinner ashore? You can make it a romantic getaway as a couple, charter a larger boat for a group of friends or make it a full-on fam jam, and bring the kids for an experience they won’t soon forget.

Bareboat or Crewed? Bareboat is for the experienced sailor but we can easily help you make it a learning vacation to gain your credentials for future bareboat cruising. If you’d like to relax and leave the work to a hired Crew, you have that option too. Catamaran vs monohull, sail vs motoryacht? A catamaran is a great way for several couples to cruise and enjoy their own space. A monohull yacht makes for a great romantic getaway for a smaller group. If a motor yacht is what excites you and you’re a fan of “Below Deck” it is all doable.

The Virgin Islands, islands of the Bahamas, Windward and Leeward Islands are a boater’s vacation paradise. Easily reached from Toronto (YYZ) you can fly directly to Puerto Rico, and then take a quick puddle jump flight to Tortola (EIS) to start your sailing journey through the BVI’s. Or fly direct to destinations like the Bahamas, St Lucia, St Maarten, Antigua and Grenada.

During a time when Covid still looms, there is no better way to vacation in paradise while still keeping within safe guidelines. Personally, it will be a very long while before I indulge in a buffet at a resort.
